Share

Not too shy to flaunt his dazzling all-round ignorance, Snowflake Willie Plaschke delved into economics [“Loss Angeles,” May 25] with his assertion “that will not happen here until our owners are willing to pay as much money for a left-handed middle reliever as an average power-hitting outfielder.”

It’s called supply and demand, Willie--e.g., you constantly supply your readers with inane observations and we continually demand your immediate retirement.

Alternatively, maybe The Times can pay your janitors as much money as you do your mediocre columnists.
