Work must continue on plans for the second phase of the 20.6-acre Lake Forest Center, the Planning Commission ruled.

Commissioners at Thursday’s meeting said they were concerned about possible traffic and parking congestion at the center on Bake Parkway at the Foothill Transportation Corridor.

Phase two includes plans for an Office Depot, 24-Hour Sports Club, EZ Lube oil change shop and a gas station, which will include a car wash, convenience store and drive-through food service. In June, the commission approved phase one’s plans for a Home Depot, two fast-food restaurants and retail shops.
