When Cafe Tacuba appeared on a multiple-act rock en espan~ol show at the Greek Theatre last summer, the Mexican group all but ignored the music from its new two-CD collection, “Reves/Yo Soy.” Tacuba will make up for that on its own tour, which will spotlight the highly acclaimed art-rock work.

Festivals

Two Native American festivals take place in Los Angeles this weekend. The Southwest Museum will host its ninth annual Intertribal Marketplace at LACMA West. The two-day event will feature more than 150 artists displaying and selling handcrafted Native American items such as jewelry, beadwork, kachina dolls, pottery, sculptures and paintings. Meanwhile, the Autry Museum of Western Heritage will present its fifth annual L.A. Intertribal Pow Wow.Hundreds of dancers and drums from more than 40 tribes will be featured, along with an Indian arts and crafts market.

Finding good children’s TV programs sometimes requires more than just flipping through channels. Each weekend in November, the Museum of Television & Radio holds the eighth International Children’s Television Festival. Bugs Bunny, Babar, Popeye and their friends will drop by to meet festival-goers, who can watch screenings of outstanding children’s programming from around the world. The theme for the first weekend is Adventure and Travel, and includes “The Bicycle” from the Netherlands, “The Adventures of Captain Pugwah” from England, “Grabbit the Rabbit” from Israel, and “Rolie Polie Olie” from France, Canada and the United States. A workshop on Saturday features the original artwork of children’s author William Joyce. Actor LeVar Burton (“Reading Rainbow”) will read a popular children’s story at Sunday’s workshop.
