The Community Services Center announced its events planned for the 75th anniversary of the city Jan. 20.
The “I Love La Habra” street fair will be held Feb. 11 to 13.
The center has contacted with 15 local businesses to participate in the street fair on Euclid and Cypress streets and on La Habra Boulevard, said David De Leon, city recreation manager. He said as many as 90 businesses can sell their products and be a part of the celebration.
De Leon expects between 18,000 and 22,000 people at the three-day event.
The city has approached a radio station and is looking for a sponsor to help cover the costs associated with planning and coordinating the street fair.
