MISSION VIEJO
Two tentative housing developments in unincorporated Trabuco Canyon could add 113 students to the Saddleback Valley Unified School District over the next five years. The school board will vote tonight whether to send a letter to the developers illustrating the project’s potential impact on nearby schools.
The school board will also vote on whether to approve a settlement of up to $31,540 to the Environmental Protection Agency for cleanup of the Casmalia Disposal Site. The district was one of hundreds of agencies that used the site to dispose of fuel waste.
The district meets at 6:30 p.m. at the district offices, 25631 Diseno Drive, Mission Viejo.
