The U.S. Postal Service’s General Mail Facility will host its third annual pre-Veterans Day celebration today. The post office will dedicate a commemorative stamp honoring veterans during the event, which includes an end-of-day flag-lowering ceremony with a postal-employee color guard consisting of U.S. military veterans. More than 350 employees at the facility are military veterans. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at the center, 3101 W. Sunflower.
