More than 100 community members met at City Hall on Thursday to honor Placentia’s veterans in the last memorial of the century.
City officials joined veterans and their families in a ceremony that included a color guard, guest speakers and local high school students singing the national anthem and “America the Beautiful.”
The event also marked the unveiling of 18 names that were added to the Veterans Monument at the Civic Center.
