STANTON
The City Council approved the allocation of $10,000 from the budget contingency account for the installation of protective netting at the Norm Ross Sports Facility Tuesday night. City Manager Terry Matz said netting behind the backstop and along the third base line of the baseball field is needed to protect nearby businesses on Beach Boulevard from foul balls.
