LOS ALAMITOS
Two Los Alamitos High School students were appointed by Mayor Marilyn Poe to serve a term on the Fine Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission.
Jennifer Barnhill and Julia Leila Djeke, students at the Orange County High School of the Arts, will be sharing the position that will end June 30.
There are seven members on the commission and usually only one student, but an exception was made, said City Manager Robert Dominguez, because both were qualified.
