THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

ANAHEIM

* East La Palma Avenue: A vehicle was repossessed in the 4000 block at 6:33 p.m. Tuesday.

* East Coronado Street: A petty theft was reported in the 3900 block at 3:04 p.m. Tuesday.

* East La Palma Avenue: A petty shoplifting theft was reported in the 3000 block at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday.

* East La Palma Avenue: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported in the 4600 block at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Martens River Circle: About $1,000 in aluminum and steel scrap metal was stolen from Meyco’s Machine in the 11500 block after someone cut the chain lock on the fence surrounding a storage area at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Brookhurst Street: Police arrested four men on suspicion of attempting to rob a business in the 14900 block at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7. The suspects reportedly entered the store but were scared off by the owner, who then reported the suspects’ vehicle license plate number to police. The vehicle was stopped by police and a search revealed two handguns, police said.

* Knott and Chapman avenues: Police arrested four juveniles on suspicion of auto theft at 9:25 p.m. Nov. 7. The suspects were seen pushing a car into a gas station and were reported to the police. Police arrived and detained two of the suspects; the other two were arrested later.

TUSTIN

* Myrtle Avenue: A car was stolen in the 15000 block at 8:11 a.m. Thursday.

* 17th Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 17000 block at 3:24 p.m. Thursday.

* Tustin Village Way: A burglary was reported in the 15000 block at 747 p.m. Thursday

YORBA LINDA

* Las Patranas: A burglary was reported in the 24000 block at 10:08 a.m. Nov. 8.

* Via Bernardo: A grand theft was reported in the 5000 block at 5:49 a.m. Nov. 8.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports over the weekend: Brea, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
