Wine Wars

[In response to Phylis Holzman’s letter Nov. 10] I would rather drink one good $30 bottle of wine any day than three mediocre $10 bottles. I enjoy the weekly wine column; it is the highlight of my newspaper week. Please keep those of us who are inclined to greatness well informed.

I would like to second the suggestion by the letter writer regarding the prices of wines you review. People who read your articles on wine look for practical information, not indulgences by someone who enjoys writing about esoterica.
