Salvation Army Set for Thanksgiving
The Oxnard-Port Hueneme Salvation Army will hold its fourth annual Thanksgiving dinner Thursday at the community center, 522 W. Wooley Road.
Also, worship services will be offered before dinner. The first service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the first dinner will be served at 11 a.m. The second service will be at noon, with the dinner at 12:30 p.m.
About 50 volunteers will be on hand to prepare and serve the holiday dinners to the needy. Seabees from the Construction Battalion Center in Port Hueneme will cook the turkeys.
