O’Neill Next in Goalie Line

When Jamie Storr suffered a groin strain in the first period Tuesday night, King officials checked the Ice Dogs’ schedule, only to find out that Long Beach was at home, resting.

The Ice Dogs travel to Utah for an IHL game tonight, but will be without goalie Mike O’Neill, the next in line now that Storr is deemed too injured to play or back up Marcel Cousineau at Dallas.

To make room for O’Neill, the Kings are planning to send down Jere Karalahti.

In Cousineau and O’Neill, the Kings will have the most diminutive goalie tandem in the NHL.
