* Holiday Classic--Glendale Centre Theatre’s 35th annual production of “A Christmas Carol” opens Friday. In Charles Dickens’ 1843 classic, Scrooge undergoes a miraculous conversion on Christmas Eve after seeing the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future. * Polished Pop--Dawn Hummer and Don Connor will perform Saturday at Coffee Junction in Tarzana. The two have been working together for more than 20 years, and it shows.
