Being Ignored by the Grand Jury

Similar reports appeared in previous years in The Times.
Three times I telephoned the Orange County Grand Jury for an application form.
It never came.
The last time, the woman said there were some 300 Asian American applicants already, so don’t apply, call again next year.
As The Times has reported, there is only one Asian American on the Orange County Grand Jury.
This morning, I sent off an e-mail for an application form.
Hopefully, this time no human voice is going to tell me I can’t give you a form, call next year.
