Faith Baptist 36, Bloomington Christian 21--Eujay Masangkay passed, caught and rushed for touchdowns, and the Contenders (10-1) overcame a 15-0 deficit to upset the unbeaten Ravens at Faith Baptist.
Faith Baptist, rotating quarterbacks Masangkay and Julio Bautista, scored 22 consecutive points to go ahead, 22-15.
Bautista completed seven of 13 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Masangkay.
Masangkay rushed 13 times for 94 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown to give the Contenders a 30-21 lead. He also caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Bautista.
Josh Stearns, who caught six passes for 125 yards and rushed for 50 yards in 12 carries, scored on 42-yard touchdown to cut the Ravens’ deficit to 22-21.
Josh Jordan of Bloomington Christian (10-1) completed seven of 13 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown.
