The theme will be “Millennium Madness” on Friday, when the Los Alamitos Youth Center hosts a dance billed as an alternative to parties where alcohol is served. High school students who dress up in a costume from the past or future will pay just $3. Tickets cost $5 for everyone else. School identification must be presented at the door. The dance, which will feature music and games, will be at the Oak Middle School gym from 9 p.m. to midnight. Information: (562) 493-4043.
