Highway Courtesy
A recent survey showed that California has the rudest drivers in the nation. I’ll second that!
Even here in Ventura County, discourtesy and rudeness are evident to me everywhere. At shopping malls or the post office, people show an “anything goes, me-first” mentality. The younger drivers seem particularly abusive and offensive in their driving habits but older drivers are bad too.
My philosophy has always been to drive defensively. As for insulting gestures, shouting, etc., people have to learn how to control their emotions. Many can’t.
