Bishop Diego 31, Santa Clara 13--Danny Chaparro rushed for 54 yards in 16 carries and scored two touchdowns but the Saints (2-2) lost at Santa Barbara City College.

Chaparro capped an eight-play, 62-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter and added a nine-yard touchdown run less than two minutes later to cut Bishop Diego’s lead to 21-13 with 8:59 left.

David Ramirez set up Chaparro’s second score when he blocked a punt and Mario Mendoza returned it to the Cardinals’ 22.
