London Stage Production Co. will present a dramatic reading of Jerome Kilty’s “Dear Liar” Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Borders Books & Music, 9301 Tampa Ave., Northridge. The play focuses on the love letters of George Bernard Shaw and Mrs. Patrick Campbell. The Outsiders, a jazz group, make their Borders debut Saturday at 8 p.m. Ken Ready will conduct a short seminar based on his audio book, “Smashing Out of the Comfort Zone,” Tuesday at 7 p.m. Discovery Toys founder Lane Nemeth will sign her book, “Discovering Another Way: Raising Brighter Children While Having a Meaningful Career,” Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 7:30 p.m., the store will present a panel discussion on “How to Write Your First Mystery Novel and Get It Published” featuring authors Kris Neri (“Revenge of the Gypsy Queen”), Nathan Walpow (“Cactus Club Killings”) and Jerrilyn Farmer (“Immaculate Reception”).
