LOS ALAMITOS
Not often does a city as well-established as Los Alamitos get not one but two new traffic lights.
Due to an increase in traffic, lights will be going up at the corner of Katella Avenue and Cherry Street near Los Alamitos Medical Center and on Sausalito Street and Los Alamitos Boulevard near the post office.
The poles are in place and the electricity is already hooked up because the lights should have been in place last week. Due to a delay, they are not expected to arrive until Thursday, according to City Manager Robert C. Dominguez.
