Slain Man Found Inside Car Parked in Alley
Los Angeles police detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found shot to death Monday in an alley.
The identity of the victim has not been released by authorities.
About 6:30 a.m. Monday, someone noticed a green Plymouth Neon parked in the alley near the 3200 block of West Jefferson Boulevard, said Los Angeles Police spokesman Guillermo Campos.
Three hours later, the person looked inside the vehicle, saw an apparently unconscious man inside and called police, police said.
Responding officers found a man who apparently was hit by a single gunshot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
