Police are looking for two armed men suspected of a home-invasion robbery early Wednesday in Woodland Hills. No one was seriously injured.

Early Wednesday morning, two men with handguns forced their way into a house in the 21300 block of Las Pilas Road, said Det. Duane Burris of LAPD’s West Valley Division.

A family of four that included two children was inside at the time, he said.

In the master bedroom, one of the suspects hit a woman with a handgun; the other gunman got into a fight with a man in the bedroom. The man managed to break free, run to a neighbor’s house and call police, Burris said.

The robbers were last seen running away, and the residents’ injuries were minor, Burris said.

Burris added that police were not aware of similar crimes in that neighborhood, which is near the Woodland Hills Country Club.

The robbers are described as African American men in their early 20s. One is 6 feet tall and of medium build; the other stands about 5-foot-8 and weighs 160 pounds, police said.

Police are asking anyone with more information about the crime to call West Valley detectives at (818) 756-8546.
