PLACENTIA
The preliminary hearing for eight men allegedly involved in a fatal New Year’s Eve shooting in Placentia has been continued to Oct. 28 at the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
The hearing has been continued twice because of scheduling problems with all eight attorneys, said Diana Gomez, senior deputy district attorney. Police said Judah Seelke, 20, of Anaheim and a friend were going to a party in the Atwood area and looking for a place to park when gang members, who mistook her for a rival, fatally shot her.
