The City Council will take a look at problems created by youths who are skateboarding on neighborhood streets, especially in areas near busy main roads.

The city’s decision was prompted by two residents of the Stanton Park Home Owners Assn., who complained at Tuesday night’s council meeting about noise and traffic problems.

The skateboarding children from the neighborhood of 132 townhomes and their friends put up ramps in the middle of the streets, said Jean Glover, who lives on College Drive.
