The University of La Verne will be holding its campus opening celebration today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the new Garden Grove Higher Education Center. The Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. The University of La Verne is one of three new education institutions at the center, located at Euclid Street and Garden Grove Boulevard.
