* Singer--Grammy winner Cleo Laine will perform pop and jazz standards at 8 p.m. Friday at the Lobero Theatre, 33. E. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara. The gifted seventysomething English vocalist, whose four-octave plus voice endures, will be accompanied by her husband, John Dankworth, and his band. $38. * Rock--A few tickets remain for Sting’s concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Arlington Theatre, 1317 St., Santa Barbara. * Masks--The Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum will host the workshop “The Millennium Mask Project” on Saturday at Paseo Nuevo shopping center. Led by artist Marcelino Jimenez, participants can create their own art masks from scratch with an array of materials. Free. Hours: 10 a.m.-noon. * Art--The 11th annual ArtWalk ‘99, a Festival of Arts, will be held Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, 2559 Puesta del Sol Road. About 150 artists and craftspeople will display and offer their wares for sale. Included are paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and more. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. $5. * Theater--The Helena Hale One-Woman Theatre will stage “Kaethe Kollwitz: Through Her Heart” on Monday at the Ensemble Theatre, 914 Santa Barbara St. The play is set in 1940s Berlin; Hale will portray popular German artist and political activist Kaethe Kollwitz.
