Mariposa Elementary School will receive a $10,000 grant from the Charles Schwab Foundation at tonight’s school board meeting.
The grant comes as a reward for Mariposa’s inclusion program, in which special-education students are fully included in regular classroom activities. The elementary school has been working with Cal State Fullerton’s education department to allow college students to get experience working with the students.
