Little Richard, Spencer to Perform at Benefit

Singers Little Richard and Tracie Spencer will perform at West Hollywood’s House of Blues on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at a fund-raiser and awards ceremony for the Tutornet Foundation, which provides tutoring on the Internet. Mark DeCarlo will be host of the ceremony.
U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters will be the evening’s honoree.
Also at the event will be magicians from the Magic Castle, as well as a “Kids’ Zone” activity center including two 6-month-old cougars and a chimpanzee as well as arts and crafts projects.
The Tutornet Foundation is chaired by Khaliah S. Ali, the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
Tickets are $150 to $350, or $200 for a family package for four.
