Public Transportation to Staples? Think Blue

Was Walter Ryan’s Oct. 23 letter intended to be tongue-in-cheek? Although it is no longer a subway at that point in its route, the Metro Blue Line stops no more than 200 yards from Staples Center. That’s about the same distance as the New York subway station is from Shea Stadium and the BART station is from the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
