Crescenta Valley 35, Hoover 20--Scott Vossmeyer completed 16 of 24 passes for 199 yards and four touchdowns, helping the Falcons (7-1, 3-0) build a 35-7 lead after three quarters at Hoover.
Vossmeyer did not play in the fourth quarter.
Jason Hogan scored on receptions of 11 and 15 yards and on a one-yard run. Hogan finished with five catches for 110 yards and rushed for 33 yards in four carries.
Wes Jones scored on an eight-yard pass play to give Crescenta Valley a 35-7 lead.
Hoover (1-7, 0-3) scored 13 points in the fourth quarter on Josh Witkop’s 24-yard run and David Barnett’s two-yard run with 1:58 left.
