An armed gunman with a demand note held up a West Hollywood bank and fled with more than $7,000 in cash Tuesday, a sheriff’s deputy said.
The robbery occurred at the Bank of America at 8655 Beverly Blvd. about 2:20 p.m., said Sgt. Marty Chulack of the West Hollywood Station.
The teller handed over the cash the gunman demanded.
The suspect, who had a black semiautomatic pistol, ran out of the branch with the money, Chulack said.
