What: www.rotonews.org.

The address may be www.rotonews.org but could just as easily be www.fantasyheaven.org. There’s everything here the number-crunching roto-geek will ever need--and plenty of help to get a league started or an existing one enhanced.

The great part of this Web site is the amount of work its organizers are willing to do for rotisserie fans for free. Along with setting up leagues for people to join, www.rotonews.org offers news and updates on players and teams, as well as daily updated general league news for all four major professional sports, as well as auto racing, golf, college football and even professional wrestling.

For the more serious fantasy player, www.rotonews.org organizes statistics, even tabulates scores for your league. Simply type in what type of scoring method you use, and it will do the rest. For football, it even provides cheat sheets for every position, based on your league’s scoring system.

For inexperienced visitors to the site, there is a forum to post questions.

There are links to other fantasy sites and to local newspapers for the teams in the major sports.

Writers try to keep things interesting rather than simply present information. For example, when posting that receiver Malcolm Floyd, who fails to make the deepest of pre-draft cheat sheets, had been released by New Orleans, the www.rotonews.org’s comment was: “Support groups are being formed as we speak to help you cope with this devastating news.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be as funny if it were Terrell Davis.
