* Orange Freeway near East Lincoln Avenue: Report of a tire in a middle northbound lane at 2:48 p.m. Sunday.

* Orange Freeway near Lincoln Avenue: Fire crews responded to a report of a car fire in the southbound lanes at 2:46 p.m. Sunday.

CYPRESS

* Bishop Street: Police arrested a person on a parole violation in the 5000 block at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Woodbridge Circle: A resident in the 16700 block returned home at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday to find someone had broken a dining room window with a hammer and was searching dresser drawers throughout the house; the resident wrestled a rifle away from the suspect.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: A 1987 Honda CRX was reported stolen in the 1000 block at 4:49 a.m. Wednesday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Theft from a 1985 Nissan was reported in the 1000 block at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

IRVINE

* Irvine Center Drive: A cellular phone and a toll road transponder were reported stolen from a locked Ford Aerostar in the 8700 block at 12:26 p.m. Thursday.

* Limewood: Police responded to a report of suspected neglect of a dependent adult in the first block at 12:14 p.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Broadway: A Lake Forest resident was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in the 200 block at 3:31 a.m. Friday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Laguna Court: Gunshots were heard in the 26000 block at 6:29 p.m. Thursday.

* Laguna Hills Drive: One adult and one juvenile were detained on suspicion of shoplifting in the JCPenney department store at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday. The adult was taken to jail and the juvenile was released to his parents.

LAKE FOREST

* Calle Celeste: Deputies responded to a report of a prowler in the 20000 block at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

* Steinway Circle: A burglary was reported in the 26000 block at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Marguerite Parkway at Los Alisos Boulevard: A reckless driver was reported at 1:06 a.m. Tuesday.

ORANGE

* Costa Mesa Freeway near Garden Grove Freeway: Report of a collision in the southbound lanes at 2:42 p.m. Sunday.

* Cannon Street at Chapman Avenue: An abandoned vehicle was reported at 9:54 p.m. Thursday.

PLACENTIA

* West La Jolla: A burglary was reported in the 800 block at 5:37 a.m. Wednesday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Aragon: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 100 block at 4:38 a.m. Thursday.

YORBA LINDA

* Liverpool Street: Unlawful tattooing of a minor was reported in the 5300 block at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday.
