Anaheim Memorial Center will conduct free screenings today for peripheral vascular disease, a condition that can cause pain, swelling, numbness, difficulty walking and skin discoloration.
The disease is caused by reduced blood flow in the legs. The exams will involve taking arm and ankle pressure to assess the potential for disease and will be held at 1211 W. La Palma Ave. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information: (714) 774-1450.
