Where to get some drum ‘n’ bass in your face. . . .

* Tuesday Night Out at the Lava Lounge. Don’t forget to make a proper offering to the Goddess of the Volcano when you enter this Hawaiian-flavored haven for drum ‘n’ bass, jungle and the sounds of India every Tuesday night. 1533 N. La Brea Ave., Hollywood, (323) 876-6612. 21 and older. $2 cover.
