Hot Seat
Regarding the letter on infant seats on airlines (“Seating Snarls,” Sept. 12), I have sat in the seat directly in front of an infant seat.
At first I couldn’t figure out why my seat wouldn’t go back, and then why it was constantly jiggling every time the baby kicked or moved. Finally I realized it was because of an infant seat behind me. For more than three hours I was miserable, not only with the constant bumping at my back, but then from the fact that I had to sit in this upright position.
I feel empathy for the people with the baby, as I have had four children and am a grandmother, but I also bought my ticket and am entitled to fully use it.
