Firefighters Douse 20-Acre Brush Fire
A brush fire scorched 20 acres near the Golden State Freeway on Sunday but caused no injuries or property damage, authorities said.
The blaze broke out about 1:15 p.m. near Calgrove Boulevard and was extinguished by about 2:30 p.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokeswoman.
At the peak of the blaze, about 75 firefighters battled the flames. The cause of the fire was under investigation, but arson is suspected, officials said.
