FULLERTON
The Transportation and Circulation Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council at today’s meeting that the crosswalk on Harbor Boulevard at Brookdale Place and Malvern Avenue be removed.
The commission decided last month that the site no longer met guidelines for a crosswalk; factors included a decrease in traffic and an increase in pedestrian accidents because it is poorly marked. Removing the crosswalk is expected to force people to cross elsewhere.
The City Council meeting starts at 4 p.m. in chambers at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.
