The city’s elementary school district is holding open registration for its state preschool program from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday at Maple Elementary School, 244 E. Valencia Drive.
Preschool classes are offered at Commonwealth, Maple, Richman and Valencia Park elementary schools for children who will be 4 years old by Dec. 2.
Parents must present a record of family income, as well as up-to-date immunizations that include at least three doses of the Hepatitis B series and one dose of the HiB meningitis vaccine on or after the child’s first birthday.
