ANAHEIM
A $200,000 federal grant will soon be used to assess contamination and the potential for building on a 25-acre property commonly known as Sinkin’ Lincoln at Beach Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue.
A former county landfill, Sinkin’ Lincoln has stood empty since 1985, when a mobile home park was moved because of complaints about ground movement due to trash decomposition.
