STANTON
The City Council on Tuesday will consider a $13,000 construction bid for modifying the backstop area at the Norm Ross Sports Facility. Council members approved the project in November, hoping that chain-link fencing above the backstop will prevent foul balls from hitting businesses on Beach Boulevard. They have rejected a $22,680 bid.
