Hey, Rickey: You Can Lose That Number Now
To hear Rickey Henderson complain about high prices in Japan is one of the most amusing things I have ever read in the sports section. If anything is overpriced, it is major league baseball players who get millions of dollars a year for the privilege of fulfilling their childhood fantasies.
I am not disputing for one second that prices in Japan are a bit steep by our standards. But as someone who lives in a glass house throwing stones, Rickey is one of the best. Look at the bright side, Rickey. You can save yourself a lot of money by not leaving a tip. That alone will save you $40 to $50.
