Amped-up party rock ain’t exactly rocket science, but playing it well does require a certain savvy. If these guys tackled it with any less unassuming enthusiasm, this album would fall flat. As it is, such tunes as the clunkily funky “Fire in the Pit” and the chunky, chantable “Losin’ It” bound along with the kind of lunkhead appeal that improves with a beer or six.
