Valley Busway

Re “Local Leaders Seek Consensus on Plan for Valley Busway,” April 9.

Interesting to note that in this and other articles and letters to the editor that no mention is ever made of the potential air pollution that buses make. To develop a busway along the Burbank-Chandler route would most certainly pollute the air more than it is now. Just drive behind a bus whether it be an old model or a new one and one can hardly breathe. Surely this should be taken into account when planning what type of transportation should go along this route.
