GARDEN GROVE
A public hearing will be held tonight to consider an increase in development fees on residential and commercial projects in the Garden Grove Unified School District. As recommended, fees for residential construction would go from $1.65 to $2.05 per square foot for remodels and new projects that increase space more than 500 square feet.
Fees for commercial and industrial projects would rise from 27 to 33 cents per square foot of covered and enclosed space. Last adjusted in 1993, if approved, the new fees would go into effect July 1.
