* Theater--The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria will open Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” on Friday. The conservatory says this production is suitable for children 12 and older. The production will be staged at the campus’ Marian Theatre. * More Theater--The Santa Barbara City College Theatre Group will open the comedy “The Complete History of America (abridged)” Friday at the west campus Studio Theatre. * Birthday--The Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation will host Presidio Day on Friday at El Presidio State Historic Park, 123 E. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara. The event celebrates Santa Barbara’s 218th anniversary. Living history demonstrations include adobe brick-making, blacksmithing, Chumash interpretation, archeology and mule packing. Also, there will be live entertainment and a costume contest for the best Don Quixote character. Hours: 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Free. * Family--The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden will hold its 10th annual Garden Egg Hunt on Saturday. Visitors are invited to bring their own baskets for a nature walk at the grounds, which will include an egg hunt and craft activities. Hours: 10-11:30 a.m. Meet at the Garden Courtyard. * Culture--The troupe Children of Uganda will make a tour stop Tuesday at 8 p.m. at UC Santa Barbara’s Campbell Hall.
