Dry, Cooler Days Seen for Weekend
Despite recent cloudy days, Ventura County has seen the last of this month’s showers, according to meteorologists at the National Weather Service.
“There is a rain system in the Northwest that will bring showers to Northern California, but our percentages here are near zero,” said Gary Ryan, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Across the county, temperatures through the weekend will be about 20 degrees cooler than earlier in the week, Ryan said. The highs will be in the middle to upper 60s along the coast and a few degrees warmer inland.
Boating aficionados should hold off until Sunday, because high winds are expected to produce choppy seas early in the weekend, Ryan said.
“It should be back to the 70s by Sunday, maybe even Santa Ana conditions,” he said.
