The City Council recently awarded a $499,894 contract to Baxter Griffin Co. to modify and install new traffic signals. New signals will be installed at Clinton Street and Trask Avenue, Chapman Avenue and Debbie Lane, and a new pedestrian signal will be installed on Buaro Street between Twintree and Hampton avenues. Existing signals at Euclid and West streets, and Harbor Boulevard, along Lampson Avenue will be modified. Construction is set to begin Aug. 28 and completed Nov. 17.
