The Costa Mesa supplier of fiber channel adapters posted record profit and revenue for the fourth quarter. Net income surged to $9.6 million, or 25 cents a share, from $3 million, or 10 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended July 2 nearly doubled, totaling $40.8 million. Net income for the fiscal year climbed to $32.8 million, or 86 cents a share, from $5.3 million, or 19 cents a share, for the previous year. Revenue more than doubled to $139.8 million from $68.5 million. The results were disclosed after the close of U.S. markets. The stock fell 44 cents a share to $47.56 in Nasdaq trading.
